Quaraptor have the ability to generate electricity by scraping its sickle-shaped claws against rocks. This is then stored inside the quartz stones along its tail, to be released as the pokémon is attacking.

Based on Velociraptors. The name is a combination of "Quartz" and "Raptor".
The reason for the stones being quartz, is that quartz is piezoelectric; that is, they can generate electricity, by bring put under stress.

Like Quaraptor, this pokémon can use its claws and tail to generate and store electricity. However, Pezoodon also has a large crystal at the end of their tail which they only use in emergencies. By slamming it hard against the ground, it generates so much electrcity fast enough, that it causes an explosion.

Based on Troodons. The name is a combination of "Piezoelectric" and "Troodon".
The name and the desciption of slamming its tail into the ground to create electricity references the fact that some crystals (including quartz) can genereate electricty when put under pressure, which is called the piezoelectric effect.

I absolutely love these guys!! great designs and colors.
Making Ice Fang a breedable or learnable move could counter the weakness to ground, it looks like these guys would have a fairly decent physical attack to make it pack a punch. (The ice would also help against its weakness to grass!)
